Cal Volleyball Camps
Cal Volleyball is once again having instructional camps this summer. Come join the 2007 NCAA Final Four Cal Bears and let us help you become the best player you can be.
Overnight Option Added. We have added dorm housing to our 2nd week of camps. You can now come and improve your volleyball skills and stay in on campus housing at the University of California just like the Bear players and students. Campers staying in the dorms will have all their meals in the campus dining commons. Camp coaches will be staying on the same floors as campers.
Learn from the Best, Be the Best. Here at Cal Volleyball we have two goals for our camps; that every player works hard to become a better volleyball player and that every player enjoys the experience. We make sure that every player leaves camp with an understanding of how to improve their skills. This year every camp participant will receive a Molten volleyball to take home. We want all of you to continue to improve your skills every day so we are giving you a ball to take home and play as much as you want.
Liberos, Middles, Setters, Hitters; We WANT You!! We will again have our position camp this year. This camp will focus on specialized instruction on your particular position (Setter, Libero, Outside Hitter, Middle Blocker). Players will be divided by position and given in depth instruction on how to master that position.
Our camp dates are:
July 7-10 Skills Camp (recommended age: 8-14) $375
July 17-19 Advanced Position Camp (recommended age: 14-18)
$375 commuter camper, $500 Overnight camper
July 21-24 Advanced Skills Camp (recommended age: 14-18) $375
All the sessions are held on the Berkeley campus in the Rec Sports Facility and Haas Pavilion.
Although the camps have 'recommended ages' we know that summer plans often times dictate when you can come to camp. If you would like to talk to us about when to come to camp please call Matt McShane at 510-642-9412.
